What is great about community colleges?

  •  Low Cost: Total cost for tuition, books and fees for a community college is less than $1200 a year.

  • Transfer Program: Community colleges offer lower division general education courses for UC/CSU bound students.  A community college counselor can help you plan your program to make sure that your courses are transferable.

  • Location:  Many community colleges are located very close to your home.
