The Millikan Career Center staff is committed to providing Millikan students, family members and school staff with the most up-to-date career and college information available. Please feel free to come into the center, or call, with any of your college or career information needs. We are here to help students and families make the most informed choices possible.

Post-Secondary Options, including:

  • Career Exploration

  • College Information and Application

  • Part-time job listings

  • SAT I,  SAT II, and ACT registration forms

  • Financial aid and scholarship opportunities

  • Financial Aid Workshops

  • Military information

  • Trade and technical school information

  • Assessments and surveys  (aptitudes, interests, etc.)

  • Regional Occupational Program (ROP courses)

  • Work permits 

  • Resume Writing Workshops

  • Apprenticeship information

  • Students visit the Career Center for specific assignments and in-service orientations

  • College Catalogs-CCC, CSU, UC, Private
  • Career Center Bulletin- This bulletin provides information about activities in the Career Center and opportunities in the local community, tips on preparing for "life after high school" and much more!
    look for it to be posted in your classrooms and read it every week!
  • WOWWW websites- a list of valuable web site addresses that offer assessment tools and sources of information on careers, colleges, scholarships, financial aid!
  • Guest Speakers, College and Military Representatives
  • Annual Community College and Community Service Fairs
